Last week after work the kids were being so cute that I just had to get the camera out to document the brother / sister relationship.

Adalyn was eating some goldfish with blue paint from a picture she made at daycare in her hair and on her face. She LOVES painting and drawing.
Happy boy with his sister's old rolling toy.

If Adalyn is within reaching distance, Cayden is always all over her snack bowl. He SO wants to eat whatever sister is eating. He doesn't realize that he isn't able to eat her snacks with his two little teeth. It's all she can do to get his little fingers peeled off the bowl. Boy likes to eat.
I love this picture. She's saying "no brother" and he's saying "why not? give up the good stuff!"
So he leans in with more vigor.
 Look at those leg rolls!
Adalyn turned away to guard her bowl and you can just see Cayden's wheels turning.
 The reach-around. Nope. Didn't work.
"If all else fails I'll just try to pull her over."

And thankfully after all of that, Adalyn is still just as sweet to him and gives him kisses.
Pesky little brother. That's his job, right?
Later Adalyn was trying to teach Cayden how to use his sippy cup. (Yes, she has a different shirt on.)
 "See? Watch me."
She also likes to give him his bottle. She's pretty serious about it.

I am so thankful for their precious relationship. I just love sitting back and watching them interact. I know it will only get sweeter.

We Have Visual

Cayden has had two teeth for a while now but I've just now captured them in a picture. He is still very much teething so I'm sure we'll have more teeth pop through soon.  Of course it took an entire series of pictures before I actually got the teeth on camera:)
 I can't handle this cuteness!

Teeth!! He loves this Sophie teether. He loves it even more than the regular Sophie:)
I love this little happy, chubby boy so very much. I just can't get enough of him!!

Sunday Pictures

We took a few pictures before church last week and I just have to share some of them. I think the kids look so cute!

Today we went to Billie's house to have a little play date after church. We also decided we needed to take pictures since neither of our families were able to get great family pictures on Easter. We really need a family picture to send in for Cayden's baby dedication and it is nearly impossible to get a good family picture.  I'm not thrilled with any that we got, but oh well.  Here are some pictures from today.

Can you tell they were hungry and ready for lunch?
This picture makes me laugh. Taking a picture of 4 kids 3 and under is quite an undertaking. I don't think we got one smile in any of the pictures from any of the kids. Oh well. They're cute anyway.

I think this picture looks like Cayden's telling Eli to back off his sister. "I'm watchin' you." I love that the two boys were matching.
I feel like these two look so old in this picture. Where has time gone?
Let's take a walk down Memory Lane. These are the kids last year in this same spot. Wow! Adalyn's hair has grown so much. Also...this makes me miss Team Taylor!

8 Months

Cayden turned 8 months old March 26th. He's such a big boy. He's a real sitter now. No scootching yet, but between sitting and rolling he stays pretty content. It's also nice because I can set him in one spot and he doesn't move far away...yet.

He is eating me out of house and home. He has been a fan of every food he's tried except avocado.  He probably just inhales the food too fast to care about the taste:)  He screams like he hasn't seen food in days, even after he has eaten 3 servings of veggies. We've started puffs and he has gotten the hang of those and can shovel them in fast and furious!  Puffs are the only way we can get him to be quiet while we eat dinner. It must be from all the food, but my sweet boy is a little chub! He used to be just chubby cheeks but now the rest of him is full too! His little arms and legs have creases and his tummy is round and most of his 9 month pants are too tight around his waist. Adalyn had chubby cheeks at his age but I don't ever remember clothes being tight around her middle. I don't think she was ever this solid! And he's getting heavy! We haven't weighed him in a while so I'm not sure what his stats are but I can tell he's gained weight. It's hard to believe he used to be so little!

He now has 2 teeth on the bottom and he likes to feel them. He keeps sucking on his lips and chewing on his tongue playing with his new little teeth. Lots of the pictures this month he was making funny faces so I posted a few. So funny.

I love their love for one another.

These faces are just too funny!

There's that smile we're used to seeing.

Sister can climb into his bed so she crawled in there to give him kisses:)
