Adalyn had her first swim lesson of the summer last night. (If you remember, she took lessons last summer also.) Last summer the lessons were at the YMCA indoor pool (and they didn't allow cameras) but this year we got her in lessons through the parks & rec department at the local pool. It wasn't quite as organized as the lessons at the YMCA, but it was nice because it was outside (and way cheaper!) Of course there were other moms with their cameras taking pictures but because of my experience last summer I had left my camera at home so all of the pictures are from my phone. Next lesson you can be sure that I'll have my camera with me! :)
Here are some pictures I took before we left the house. She looked so cute in her little suit that I had to get some pictures. I was leaning over to get on her level, so she started leaning over. So I squatted and then she squatted. She is such a little mini-me and repeats everything! (Including using the big potty! If you didn't read my tweet from Tuesday night, Adalyn sat on the potty and went pee pee in it without being prompted or us trying to potty train her...she just likes to do everything we do! You can be sure that mommy and daddy were cheering and clapping and making fools of ourselves! We were so excited and Adalyn was so proud of herself!)
Adalyn was the youngest in the class (it's 18-36 months so it's quite a range) and she was one of the bravest kids! I was so proud of her! No tears!!
