{Hanging head} I didn't do so well on vacation (eating-wise). I honestly didn't think I was going overboard. We went to the grocery store and ate at my brother's house for breakfast and lunch most days so it wasn't like every single meal was fast food or anything like that. But I did allow myself to snack in between meals, have ice cream three times and eat countless fish dinners. All of that to say. You all. I gained 7 pounds on vacation. SEVEN! Wow. I set myself back two weeks of weight loss (three if you count the two weeks it took me to originally use the weight and one week that it took me to gain it)!
I'm trying not to get down on myself. Vacation isn't about being hard on yourself. So when we got back in town Saturday night I decided that Sunday morning I was hopping back on the Lose It wagon. Yep. It needed to happen.
Last Friday, after one week back using my Lose It app (and only 1 run due to rain) I lost 4 lbs. Yay.
After another week using Lose It (and three 3+ mile runs) I weighed in today and I was down another 5.2 lbs! Whoo to the Hoo!
You all, I expected to maybe lose 3 to get back to my pre-vacation weight, but I did more than that! My Lose It app is supposed to help me lose 2 lbs a week, so I got back to pre-vacation weight plus another week of Lose It all in one week! To say that I'm thrilled is an understatement!
Of course because I'm a girl, I started doing the calculations of losing 9 lbs in two weeks...If I hadn't gone on vacation and gained a ton, and I had instead worked this hard during that week, I would now be at X weight and only 10 lbs away from my goal. Trying to stop that thought process. It'll be here soon enough
Right now I'm sitting at a total loss of 19.4 lbs since May 1st. I'll take it! I have 17 lbs to reach my goal! Here we go! Where are my running shoes...I'm itching to burn some more calories! Exercise really is addictive!

Good job Abby!! Awesome work. I woke up this morning and the scale was much lower than I had thought - for me it was more about being too busy this week to eat a ton. Not the best or healthiest way to slim down but at this point in my menopausal state I'll take it - ha ha.
Way to go my friend! So proud of you xo
(P.S.... I've actually blogged this week... twice (maybe even 3 times by the time I get offline tonight!)
Ugh don't beat yourself up. Weight loss is so difficult. I am having the same problem. I got sick a few weeks ago and lost a lot of weight and now it's back! I hate that! Having babies is tough work and I always try to remember that. Just gotta keep trying and NOT beat yourself up, don't give up.
Go girl - way to catch up and then some! Woo-hoo. I noticed you'd been upping your mileage - no turning back now! =) I'm 15 lbs away too...I keep saying "I think I can, I think I can". We can do it!
Good job girl!!! Way to get back on the wagon after vacation...that's not easy to do! Awesome dedication!
